Youth club
Keep all those involved in the setting up of the youth ministry in your prayers, we would also ask that you pray specially for the young people involved and our residential trip where we hope to ask the young people for their views and opinions on the make up of the new youth ministry.
Sunday – Creche & Sunday School
Every Sunday we run a creche service for under 10s and a Sunday School for over 10s. We have young people of all ages and abilities at Chorley and our experienced team work with parents to ensure that we are able to meet the individual needs of all in our care.
Hoppers
Hoppers is a retreat house just east of Tonbridge in the Kentish village of Five Oak Green.
The building started life centuries ago as the village pub, the Rose and Crown. You can still see the
medieval beams, the low ceilings (mind your head) and the sloping floors upstairs.
We have a strong connection with this fantastic place and have shared many weekends away together over the years – with activities for the children, cooking and eating together, games for young and older and time for prayer. Hoppers is an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of London and have fun together.
Day trips
During the year we organise day trips across the UK for our young congregation, their friends and members of the local community. We have a great time finding new places and meeting new people across the country. Whether it be a museum, royal airforce base, fun fair or simply fish and chips at the seaside, we really look forward to getting out and about and having fun.
