Alpha Course
Life is worth exploring!Our next Alpha Course will start with the introductory evening on Wednesday 3rd of April 2013 at 6:30pm. There will be a buffet meal. The course will continue to run every Wednesday through April until the 29th of May: each session starts with a meal together at 6:30pm. The Alpha course is totally free and everyone is very welcome.
Wise Owls: Last Thursday of the Month 11am – 2pm
Fellowship for the Over ‘Fiftyish’
We get together once a month and share lunch – often with board games and crafts. Bring your knitting, crocheting and join us for visits to King Henry’s Walk Community Garden.
Prayer Meeting: Fridays 6pm – 7:30pm
No work of God can go forward without prayer. Believers are encouraged to come and offer thanksgiving and praise to God for all His goodness to us, and to pray for one another, and the ministries at Chorley and beyond, not forgetting our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. If you would like us to pray for you please let us know.
Hoppers
Hoppers is a retreat house just east of Tonbridge in the Kentish village of Five Oak Green.
The building started life centuries ago as the village pub, the Rose and Crown. You can still see the medieval beams, the low ceilings (mind your head) and the sloping floors upstairs.
We have a strong connection with this fantastic place and have shared many weekends away together over the years – with activities for the children, cooking and eating together, games for young and older and time for prayer. Hoppers is an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of London and have fun together.
Next trip: 31st of May to 2nd of June. £25.00 per child / £40.00 per adult.
